What Is the Mass Save® Heat Loan?​

The Sponsors of the Mass Save program are making it easier and more affordable than ever to upgrade your Massachusetts home’s energy efficiency. The Mass Save HEAT Loan offers zero-interest financing opportunities of up to $25,000 for qualifying energy efficiency improvements.

Who Is Eligible for HEAT Loan Financing? ​

HEAT Loan financing is available to qualifying customers of participating utilities, including Eversource, National Grid, and Unitil. To qualify, the loan applicant must be the homeowner and they must have a current residential electric account. HEAT Loan financing is only available for qualifying energy efficiency improvements and is contingent upon loan approval from a participating lender.
