Mass Save Heating Rebates & Incentives
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps work by transferring heat rather than burning fuel to create heat, which is a more efficient process. As a result, heat pumps are able to keep your home just as warm as other types of heating systems while using less energy. They have both heating and cooling settings, so you can use a heat pump year-round for energy efficient heating and air conditioning.

Mini Split Heat Pumps
Mini split heat pumps are a special type of heat pump system that does not need to be connected to ductwork. They deliver heated or cooled air directly into the room they’re installed in without the help of a duct system. Since they don’t use ductwork, mini splits are not susceptible to duct leakage, which can add hundreds of dollars to your energy bills, per the Department of Energy.
