1. No-Cost Home Energy Assessment
Most homeowners want to make their homes more energy efficient, but they don’t know where to start. The solution? A no-cost Home Energy Assessment. A Home Energy Assessment is an evaluation of your home that allows us to uncover hidden inefficiencies and identify energy-saving opportunities.
Here’s what’s included in a Mass Save Home Energy Assessment, all at no cost to you:
- A comprehensive evaluation of your home
- Energy report detailing our findings & the incentives you qualify for
- Help navigating incentive and financing opportunities
- Installation of no-cost energy-saving devices as needed
When your Home Energy Assessment is complete, Neeeco will schedule the upgrades you decide to make. We make it easy to find ways to save energy, make the necessary improvements, and claim your rebates.
2. Heat Pump Rebates
Air source heat pumps are one of the smartest and most energy efficient ways to heat and cool your home. Heat pumps combine energy efficient heating and air conditioning into one system allowing you to save energy and keep your home comfortable all year long.
Unlike traditional heating sources, heat pumps don’t burn fuel to create heat. Instead, they extract heat from the air outside and move it into your home. In cooling mode, they work in reverse, removing heat from the air inside your home and dumping it outside. They run on electricity, eliminating in-home fuel combustion and reducing carbon emissions. Plus, they can be powered for free with solar panels!
Ducted heat pumps and ductless mini split heat pumps both qualify for Mass Save heat pump rebates in 2025.
Rebate Type | Rebate Amount |
Whole-Home Heat Pump Rebate | $3,000 per ton, up to $10,000 |
Partial-Home Heat Pump Rebate | $1,250 per ton, up to $10,000 |
Income-Based Enhanced Incentive | Up to $16,000 |
To be eligible for heat pump rebates, you must be displacing natural gas, oil, propane, or electric resistance heat.
Bonus Savings: Heat Pump Tax Credit
Heat pump heating and cooling systems are also eligible for a federal tax credit worth 30% of the installation costs, up to $2,000 a year. You can combine federal heat pump tax credits with Mass Save rebates to maximize your savings.
3. At Least 75% Off Insulation Upgrades & No-Cost Air Sealing
Weatherization, which includes insulation and air sealing, is one of the first steps toward a more energy efficient home.
Insulation and air sealing work together to reduce energy loss and save you money. Air sealing closes up leakage points that allow air to move freely into and out of your home. Insulation slows down heat transfer, keeping heat in during the winter and out during the summer.
The less energy your home loses, the easier it is for your HVAC system to keep it comfortable, resulting in less energy loss and lower bills. You can save up to 20% on your heating and cooling bills just by making insulation and air sealing improvements.
Mass Save insulation rebates make it easier and more affordable to make the insulation upgrades your home needs. Homeowners and renters are eligible for insulation rebates worth up to 100% off the upgrade cost.
Incentive Type | Incentive Amount |
Insulation Upgrade | 75% off project cost |
Income-Based Enhanced Incentive | 100% off project cost |
Air Sealing | Completed at no-cost |
4. ENERGY STAR Window Rebates Up to $75 per Window

Think about how many appliances you have in your home. There’s your dishwasher, your stove, your clothes washer, your clothes dryer…the list goes on. All of these appliances use energy and the cost of running them can add up fast, especially if they’re old and inefficient.
