AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM MEASURES
Ensure that the air conditioning system is installed to comply with the minimum energy ratings of the Mass Save program. Installation should be as per manufacturers’ instructions and the State and Local Codes. All questions are to be directed to the PROGRAM and/or Authority Having Jurisdiction.
MECHANICAL VENTILATION
Mass Save Contractor must ensure compliance of all houses with BPI standards for fresh air ventilation.
LIGHTING MEASURES
Ensure that the lighting unit is installed to comply with the maximum energy use set by the Mass Save program. Installation is as per the manufacturers’ instructions and fixture restrictions.
DOMESTIC HOT WATER MEASURES
Ensure that the domestic hot water unit is installed to comply with the minimum Energy Factor ratings or energy efficiency ratings set by the Mass Save program. Installation should be as per manufacturers’ instructions and the State and Local Codes. All questions are to be directed to the PROGRAM and/or Authority Having Jurisdiction.
