WINDOW REPLACEMENT

Windows should be installed as per the manufacturer’s instructions to assure operation and moisture protection are effective. Close all rough openings airtight before the installation of casings and sills. Inspect all newly installed windows and verify for the proper functioning of all hardware and locking mechanisms.

Read the EPA guidelines and local codes for retrofit window installations in locations where lead and/or asbestos are present.

HEATING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

The furnace or boiler to be installed must have minimum AFUE ratings set by the Mass Save program. Installation should be made as per the manufacturers’ instructions and the State and Local Codes. All questions are to be directed to the PROGRAM and/or Authority Having Jurisdiction.
