The Mass Save program is changing the way we use energy here in Massachusetts. Through the program, Massachusetts homeowners can receive new insulation incentives, energy rebates, and more to make their homes more energy efficient, leading to less waste and lower energy bills.

Locate Inefficiencies with a No-Cost Mass Save Home Energy Assessment

Many factors can affect your home’s energy efficiency, like insulation, air leakage, heating and cooling equipment, and much more. A home energy assessment evaluates all of these areas of your home to determine where the inefficiencies are located and what upgrades will have the greatest impact on your home’s energy efficiency, comfort, and health.

In order to qualify for Mass Save rebates, you must have a Mass Save home energy assessment completed by a Mass Save contractor, like Neeeco. This assessment is available to Massachusetts homeowners at no cost. After the assessment is complete, you’ll receive a personalized energy report with a list of recommended upgrades. Many of these upgrades can qualify for Mass Save rebates!

Get Up to 100% Off Insulation Installation

It’s virtually impossible to have a comfortable, energy efficient home without adequate insulation. Insulation slows down heat transfer, keeping heat inside your home during the winter and blocking it out during the summer. As a result, your heating and cooling systems don’t have to run as frequently to maintain the temperature inside your home, leading to lower energy bills.

Mass Save insulation incentives can help you cover 75% to 100% of the cost of your insulation upgrade, and you can also receive no-cost air sealing to tighten your home and further improve its efficiency.

Save on Energy Efficient Heating & AC Upgrades

Inefficient heating and air conditioning equipment wastes energy and can drive your energy costs up. By installing new, high-efficiency HVAC equipment, you can reduce energy waste and save money. By installing energy efficient ductless mini-splits, you could save up to 40% on energy costs compared to more traditional heating and cooling systems. Mass Save rebates and incentives are available for the following equipment:

  • Ground source heat pumps (up to $15,000)
  • Air source heat pumps (up to $10,000)
  • Gas heating* (up to $1,500)
  • Oil heating* (up to $400)
  • Propane heating* (up to $1,500)

*All fossil fuel equipment must be installed by August 31, 2024 to be eligible.

Upgrade to High-Efficiency Appliances

Appliances like washing machines and clothes dryers make our lives easier, but they need energy to run. If you have inefficient appliances in your home, you’re likely wasting energy and spending more than you need to on energy bills. Upgrading your washer and dryer could save 20% on your energy costs compared to older, inefficient models. Neeeco and the sponsors of Mass Save can help you save money with rebates for the following appliances:

  • Clothes washers (up to $150)
  • Dehumidifiers (up to $30)
  • Room air cleaners (up to $40)
