Refrigerator Assessment

Homeowners having eligibility for refrigerators assessment can get a rebate toward buying a standard ENERGY STAR refrigerator if they want to replace their current one. Energy Specialists should know its current age, model number, and features located to determine if they meet the related regulations to warrant the replacement. If metering the refrigerator is concerned, the minimum metering time is 30 minutes; however, a longer time is preferable. If the refrigerator does qualify, the Energy Specialist must give a rebate form to the homeowner from the Program Administrator that sponsors the rebate for that home.
