Get a $75 rebate when you recycle refrigerators and freezers

Old refrigerators and freezers waste energy and money due to being energy inefficient. You can get paid to replace and recycle them thanks to the $75 rebate from the Sponsors of Mass Save. At no cost, your old appliance will be picked up for removal, a service provided to customers of Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, and Unitil.

Contactless pickup eligibility requirements

1. This service is only available for customers of Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid or Unitil.
2. To avoid risks of COVID-19 transmission, there is no face-to-face contact with customers. All questions will be dealt with over the phone to arrange the logistics of the pickup.
3. The measurements of the refrigerators and freezers must meet these specifications: inside volumes between 10 and 30 cubit feet; doors must be removed.
4. Only two units for each electric account can be recycled per calendar year.
